As it turned out, a little explanation is required.
Regardless of the update method (file selection) - the result should be the same. But you need to understand: to compile, the program needs access to temporary directories and rights, which is a problem in some versions (especially in Windows 10). Therefore, it is highly recommended to run the update file with administrator rights.
If an error occurs during installation, download the "quick installation" - it can be used as a "repair" option. This does not require any changes to the registry.

The file (update installer) is not digitally signed. Obviously, your Windows security system is configured so that the installation is performed in a virtual environment and the command handler does not have access to the game files - in this case, Administrator rights will not help.
That is why we made the second file.

PC It's not about Windows 10, it's about the Microsoft account - as a rule, it is in this case that programs that do not have a digital signature run in a virtual environment. Without it, the 119MB update installs fine on all versions of Windows.

Unfortunately, in recent days, complaints have been received about the detection of a Trojan when installing our mod, namely:
Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml

The release of the version took place in May 2021 and there was nothing like it. An analysis of the situation showed that another signature update was released for Microsoft Defender, and it is obvious that a "fingerprint" of some new virus appeared there, which coincided with the map editor from our mod.

For my part, as a developer, I guarantee that there are no and cannot be any viruses in our mod - we very carefully check all files before each release, not only for the presence of any "infection", but also for any possible match of signatures of various antivirus programs. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, it still happens.

What we recommend:
1. Let's agree right away that you trust Microsoft Defender more than us
2. If you do not plan to create maps - just leave this problem, the editor is removed and you simply do not need it. You can play without it
3. If you are going to work with the editor, you can use its previous version from the RVG 0.8 release - the changes there are minor, and no one still "swears" at it
